Excursions are possible to Shali Peak- the highest point in the area or to Cragnano (3 km) with its elegant guest house set in a delightful flower-filled garden. (9.6 Kms).

At a distance of 13 km from Shimla on the Shimla-Naldhera Road is the small village of Mashobra. Mashobra is well known for bountiful apple orchards and thick forests of oak and pine trees. Mashobra is an ideal weekend getaway if you are not looking for luxury but peace and tranquility and tremendous natural beauty.

A temple dedicated to Goddess Durga is worthy of visit in Mashobra. From Mashobra, you can also undertake a trek to the Shail Peak, the highest peak in the entire area. On a walking distance from Mashobra is the village of Sipi known for a fair that is held every year in the month of April. From Mashobra, one can go on excursion tours to Shimla, Naldhera, Bekhalty, Craignano and Parmanoo.
